Maximum daily loss
Each trading day starts at 00:00 UTC. On 2-Step and 1-Step accounts the daily limit is measured from the higher of your balance or equity at that moment (on Futures, from the balance). Example on a $100K 2-Step account: 4% = $4,000. If you start the day at $102,000, your equity may not fall below $98,000 that day, including floating losses.
Static maximum loss (2-Step)
The 8% maximum loss is fixed from your initial balance. On a $100K account your equity may never drop below $92,000, no matter how much profit you have made before.
Trailing maximum loss (1-Step and Futures)
The floor follows your highest balance upwards by the same dollar distance and never moves down. On a $100K 1-Step (6% = $6,000), the floor starts at $94,000; if your balance reaches $104,000 the floor rises to $98,000. Once your highest balance reaches $106,000 the floor locks at the initial balance of $100,000 and stops trailing.
Consistency rule
To pass, your best single day may not exceed a share of your total profit: 50% on 2-Step and 1-Step, 40% on Futures. It rewards steady trading over one lucky day.
