Short-term trading is welcome: there is no minimum holding time and you can take several trades a day. We only prohibit practices that abuse the simulated environment, such as tick scalping or exploiting feed latency.

What is allowed and what is not

Genuine scalping based on your own analysis is allowed. Prohibited: tick scalping or high-frequency strategies that abuse the simulated environment, exploiting price-feed latency or platform errors, and copying or hedging trades across accounts of different people.

Costs matter more when you scalp

On a 5-pip target, a 1-pip spread and commission take a large share of the profit. Scalp the most liquid instruments (EURUSD, GBPUSD, gold, NAS100) during their most active sessions, when spreads are tightest.

Include spread + commission in your risk-reward calculation.
Avoid scalping in the minutes right after a major release, when spreads widen.
Keep a daily trade limit: over-trading is the main risk for scalpers.
