The futures challenge: contracts, trailing drawdown and consistency

How the Axora futures evaluation works: a 6% target, intraday trailing drawdown, daily loss on balance, contract limits and a 40% consistency rule.

By the Axora Funded Research Team

The futures programme is built for traders of index, oil and gold futures: ES, NQ, YM, RTY, CL, GC and the micros MES and MNQ. It has one evaluation phase and a funded stage with up to a 90% split.

Sizes and rules

  • $25K ($99): 6% trailing max loss, 3% daily, up to 3 contracts.
  • $50K ($149): 4% trailing, 2.2% daily, up to 5 contracts.
  • $100K ($249): 3% trailing, 2% daily, up to 10 contracts.
  • $150K ($349): 3% trailing, 2% daily, up to 15 contracts.
  • All sizes: 6% profit target, at least 3 trading days, best day no more than 40% of total profit.

Daily loss on balance

Unlike the CFD programmes, the futures daily limit is measured from the day's starting balance.

Contract limits

The maximum number of contracts applies to your total open position. Micros count according to the platform's rules; check the instrument info before sizing.

Consistency at 40%

To pass, your best day may not be more than 40% of the total profit. With a 6% target, aim for several days of 1–1.5% rather than one big session.
