A funded account pays when four conditions are met at the same time. Knowing them in advance lets you trade the cycle in a way that makes the payout automatic rather than a surprise.
The four conditions
- Cycle: 14 days since the account was activated (first payout) or since your previous payout request.
- Winning days: at least 5 days in the cycle with a net profit of at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
- Consistency: your best day may not be more than 40% of the cycle's net profit.
- Buffer: only the balance above the initial balance plus 3% can be withdrawn.
Worked example ($100K account, 90% split)
- Days with results: +0.8%, +1.1%, -0.4%, +0.6%, +1.2%, +0.7%, -0.3%, +0.9%.
- Winning days of at least 0.5%: six. Condition met.
- Net profit of the cycle: +4.6%. Best day +1.2% is 26% of it. Condition met.
- Balance $104,600; above the $103,000 buffer: $1,600 withdrawable.
- Payout: 90% of $1,600 = $1,440.
After the payout
Your maximum loss is locked at the initial balance, and a new 14-day cycle starts from the request.
Common reasons a request is not yet eligible
- Fewer than 5 winning days of 0.5%.
- One big day larger than 40% of the cycle's profit.
- Profit not yet above the 3% buffer.
