On the Axora 2-Step, phase 1 asks for 10% in up to 30 days and phase 2 asks for 5% in up to 60 days, with the same 4% daily and 8% maximum loss. On paper phase 2 is the easy one. In practice many traders who passed phase 1 fail phase 2. Here is why, and what to do about it.
Why phase 2 feels harder
- Pressure: you already 'spent' a successful phase, and losing now feels like losing twice.
- Overconfidence: phase 1 went well, so size creeps up.
- Boredom: a 5% target in 60 days tempts you to force trades to finish early.
The maths is on your side
5% with 0.5% risk per trade and an average reward of 1.5R is roughly seven winning trades net. With a 50% win rate, that is about fourteen trades in total, spread over at least five trading days. You have up to 60 days. There is no need to hurry.
A simple phase 2 plan
- Risk 0.5% per trade, never more than in phase 1.
- Target 1% on a good day, then stop.
- Stop after two losers or -1.5% on the day, whichever comes first.
- Respect the consistency rule: no single day may be more than half of your total profit.
- Close everything before the weekend.
When you are close to the target
At +4% many traders get nervous and take a large trade to 'finish it'. That one trade often becomes the losing streak. Keep the same size. If you need +1% and you have a 0.5% risk, two normal winners finish the job.
After you pass
The funded stage has no profit target. What matters is the payout cycle: 14 days, 5 winning days of at least 0.5% and a best day no larger than 40% of the cycle profit. The habits you build in phase 2 are exactly the ones you need there.
