Loss limits (all accounts)
The daily limit is measured from a reference taken at 00:00 UTC: the higher of your balance or equity at that moment. Your equity may not fall below that reference minus 4% (2-Step) or 3% (1-Step) of the initial balance. The maximum loss is 8% static on the 2-Step (the floor never moves) and 6% trailing on the 1-Step (it follows your highest balance up to the initial balance). Limits are enforced to the cent and include open positions.
What you need to pass
- 2-Step: +10% in phase 1 (5 to 30 days), then +5% in phase 2 (5 to 60 days).
- 1-Step: +10% with a minimum of 3 trading days and no time limit.
- Futures: +6% with a minimum of 3 trading days and a 40% consistency rule.
- Consistency: your best day may not exceed 50% of your total profit. It never fails the account — you just keep trading until it is met.
Conduct rules on paid accounts
- News: no new orders or stop changes from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after a high-impact release on the affected instruments. Closing is always allowed; holding a position on them at the release suspends the account.
- Up to 5 open positions and pending orders at the same time, and up to 10 orders per minute.
- No bots or high-frequency trading: if more than half of your trades (from 10 trades) last under 30 seconds, the account is suspended.
- 2-Step evaluation positions are closed on Friday at 20:45 UTC. 1-Step, futures and funded accounts may hold over the weekend.
