Why the reset time matters

The daily loss is measured on equity, floating losses included, against the higher of balance and equity at the start of the day. A trade that is losing at 23:50 UTC still counts for that day; after 00:00 UTC a new allowance starts from the new base.

Weekend close

On 2-Step and Ascent evaluation accounts positions are closed on Friday at 20:45 UTC and trading reopens on Sunday at 22:00 UTC. Other programmes and funded accounts may hold over the weekend.
