Maximum open positions and anti-bot rules: what is allowed

New paid accounts allow up to five open positions and review bot-like trading. What that means, why it exists and how normal traders are never affected.

By the Axora Funded Research Team

On new paid Axora accounts you can have a maximum of five positions open at the same time, and trading activity that looks automated or abusive is reviewed. Here is what these rules mean for normal traders.

Five open positions

Five simultaneous positions is more than enough for discretionary trading. The limit prevents stacking many small positions that together create a hidden, very large risk, and it stops strategies that rely on opening dozens of trades at once.

Bot-like activity

Very high-frequency patterns, such as many trades per second, latency arbitrage or copying trades between accounts to hedge, are not trading skill and are not allowed. Accounts showing them can be suspended and reviewed.

What is fine

  • Manual trading at any normal frequency.
  • Using alerts, limit orders, stop orders and partial closes.
  • Several positions in different markets within the five-position limit.
