How the AVAXUSD lot size is calculated
Position size = risk in dollars ÷ (stop distance × value per unit). On AVAXUSD, one point ($1) is worth $10.00 per standard lot, so a $0.5 stop costs $5.00 per lot. $2,000 ÷ $5.00 = 200 lots (rounded down to the 0.01 step).
Spread add a little to the real cost of each trade, so many traders round down further. Calculated at the current AVAXUSD price of 9.525.
The $200K rules in AVAXUSD price moves
Rules are set in dollars, but you watch the AVAXUSD chart. This is how far price can move against a 200-lot position before each limit is reached:
- Classic: target $20,000 ($10) + $10,000 ($5), daily loss $8,000 ($4), max loss $16,000 ($8), all with 200 lots.
- At 1% risk per trade it takes 4 losing trades in a single day to hit the Classic daily limit.
- 1-Step: target $20,000 ($10), daily loss $6,000 ($3), max loss $12,000 trailing ($6), all with 200 lots.
- At 1% risk per trade it takes 3 losing trades in a single day to hit the 1-Step daily limit.
- Ascent: target $10,000 ($5) + $10,000 ($5) + $10,000 ($5), daily loss $6,000 ($3), max loss $12,000 ($6), all with 200 lots.
- At 1% risk per trade it takes 3 losing trades in a single day to hit the Ascent daily limit.
- Spark: target $16,000 ($8), daily loss $4,000 ($2), max loss $8,000 ($4), all with 200 lots.
- At 1% risk per trade it takes 2 losing trades in a single day to hit the Spark daily limit.
Maximum AVAXUSD position size on $200K
With 1:5 leverage one lot needs about $19 of margin, so a $200K account could open about 200 lots in total. That is a margin ceiling, not a target: the daily loss limit is the real constraint.
When AVAXUSD moves most
Most active with the US session and during altcoin rotations. Size down around those moments: wider swings mean a wider stop, and a wider stop with the same risk means fewer lots.
