About AUDUSD
AUDUSD is a commodity currency linked to metals prices and Chinese demand. It often reflects global risk appetite and reacts to the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Moves during the Sydney/Tokyo session and on Australian employment data, RBA decisions and Chinese data releases.
How to size a AUDUSD position
Position size = risk in dollars ÷ (stop distance × value per unit). Example on a $100,000 account risking 1% ($1,000) with a 18 pips stop: 5.55 lots, which risks about $999.
The order panel has a built-in risk calculator: enter your % risk and your stop loss and it sizes the position for you.
